Since you’ll likely schedule a hair and makeup trial anyway, combining it with a photoshoot maximizes the value of your time and preparation. Second, these photos become valuable assets throughout your planning journey – perfect for designing your unique wedding invitations, creating your personalized wedding website, and sharing meaningful social media updates in the months leading to your special day. When it comes to organizing your pre-wedding photoshoot, your main choice is between hotel packages and customized services.
Hotel Packages: A Convenient Choice
While not many resorts in Phuket offer pre-wedding photoshoot packages, they represent a convenient, hassle-free solution requiring minimal organizational effort. These packages tend to be on the premium side, but we have reviewed the offerings from various hotels and identified three particularly interesting options:
- Intercontinental Phuket Resort offers an entry-level package at approximately 1,000 USD, including exclusive resort access, a floral bouquet, and dinner at their Michelin-guide restaurant.
- Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach offers a comprehensive package at around 1,400 USD, featuring two hours of professional photography, bridal hair & makeup, a wedding cake, and sparkling wine.
- Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort offers what we consider the most interesting package, priced at about 1,300 USD. It includes a two-night stay in a Terrace Whirlpool room, full-day photography coverage (10 AM-5 PM), a couple’s massage, bridal hair & makeup, and transportation to two iconic Phuket photo locations.
Custom Photography Sessions: A Tailored Experience
While hotel packages offer convenience and minimal planning requirements, we typically recommend working directly with a photographer or an experienced planning agency for a customized experience. This approach allows you to select your preferred photographer and makeup artist rather than using pre-assigned vendors. It also provides you with greater flexibility to explore multiple locations, including hidden gems away from typical tourist spots. Cost-wise, customized photoshoots generally align with hotel package prices, though final costs depend on specific vendor selections. For a quality pre-wedding photoshoot, we suggest budgeting around 1,500 USD.
