10 Questions

Could you tell us about your hometown and any other places that hold a place in your heart?

I was born in rural Thailand, raised in the UK, then moved to New Zealand when was 18 with my kiwi partner and raised a family here. Now currently based in Bangkok and travel for destination weddings. Thailand will always hold a special place in my heart, it will always be home for me.

What inspired your choice of becoming a Hair & Makeup artist?

I have always loved all things beauty and makeup. Growing up, I was always the friend that did everyones makeup. Transforming people, accentuating the beauty that already exists and helping people feel and look like the best version of themselves is what I love.

How would you describe your beauty philosophy in one sentence?

Feeling good in your own skin and letting that positive energy shine through.

Are there any hair and makeup icons or artists who have influenced your style and approach?

Australian Makeup Artists are some of the best! If I was to describe my style it would be soft glam. It's somewhere between full glam and natural, where the base is perfectly sculpted and has soft neutral tones on the eyes, I love to enhance my clients eye colour with tones to match. I have been following Kellsie Bain for a while now and I love the way she brings out her clients natural beauty. I would say my style is similar to hers.

Can you describe one of your favorite bridal looks you've created?

There are so many and even though they are similar, they are all very different. I love to get to know my brides, and bring their vision to life. keeping them calm and bringing the good vibes on their wedding day.

What is the most challenging part of your work?

I would have to say the timeline, as I am a perfectionist. I always meet the deadlines but I love to go back and forth until its perfect.

How do you stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends?

Social media, mainly Instagram. I follow a lot of makeup artists and creatives from all over the world, this helps me keep up to date with the latest trends and products.

Can you share one or two of your must-have beauty products that you always have in your kit?

There are so many amazing products! I love the Bobbi Brown Vitamin enriched face base, Rare Beauty blushers, Hourglass concealers and powders.

What advice do you give to brides when choosing their wedding day hair and makeup?

Find an artist that resonates with your style. Have a look at their portfolio and have a collection of hair and makeup styles you like the look of. I always recommend a trial first just to be certain. This will give you time to try and play with different hair and makeup styles you like and pick the perfect one for you.

Skin prep and sun screen leading up to your big day is a must. This ensures the most flawless makeup application.
