10 Questions

Could you tell us about your hometown and any other places that hold a place in your heart?

I was born and raised right here in Phuket, and I can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. There’s something deeply special about being able to build a life and career on the very island that raised you. As a bridal makeup artist working with international couples, I bring not only professional expertise but also the warmth and knowledge of a true local. There’s nothing more special than helping brides look and feel beautiful in the place I know best.

What inspired your choice of becoming a Hair & Makeup artist?

I started doing my own makeup in Grade 3. It was playful at first, but I quickly became fascinated by how makeup could completely shift how someone feels. After studying English, I decided to follow that early spark. Now, helping brides feel confident, radiant, and completely themselves on their wedding day is my greatest joy.

How would you describe your beauty philosophy in one sentence?

Makeup should enhance your beauty, not mask it. My goal is always to make sure my clients feel like the best version of themselves, not a trend, not someone else, just you. Years from now, when you're flipping through your wedding album or showing your photos to your children, I want you to still recognize yourself and smile. That's why I always focus on timeless, skin-enhancing techniques that age gracefully with you.

Are there any hair and makeup icons or artists who have influenced your style and approach?

I find so much inspiration in Hindash, a Dubai-based makeup artist. His precision, his mastery of color, and his minimalist-yet-impactful approach to beauty constantly push me to elevate my own work.

Can you describe one of your favorite bridal looks you've created?

One of my favorite looks was for a beach wedding here in Phuket — we went with soft, dewy skin, featherlight lashes, and loose Hollywood curls. It was classic and romantic, with a natural glow that caught the light just right.

What is the most challenging part of your work?

When a bride gives me full creative control, I never take that lightly. Even if someone says, "You're the expert, do whatever you think," I’ll still spend time gently uncovering their comfort zones and how they want to feel on the day. My job is to translate that into a look that feels true to her.

How do you stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends?

The world of beauty moves fast and I love keeping up. I’m constantly testing, upgrading my kit, and learning from international makeup artists. Whether it’s adapting to a new skin prep routine or testing how products hold up in Phuket’s heat and humidity, I believe in being ready for every kind of bride and every kind of weather.

Can you share one or two of your must-have beauty products that you always have in your kit?

No matter the weather I rely on certain products to keep skin looking fresh from the first kiss to the last dance. Dior foundation gives a radiant, second-skin finish that holds up beautifully in heat, while Charlotte Tilbury’s setting spray locks it all in without that stiff, over-matte look. These two are always in my kit.

What advice do you give to brides when choosing their wedding day hair and makeup?

When it comes to your wedding day, choose a look that reflects who you truly are. Trends come and go, but your wedding photos will last a lifetime. A timeless look doesn’t mean boring. It means you, elevated. Glowing skin, soft definition, and the kind of makeup that looks just as stunning in person as it does on camera. When you feel good in your skin, it always shows.
